About the role The Project Support Officer is a member of the Data Futures team in the PSC Performance and Insights Branch and plays a key role in the project governance, coordination and support of branch projects and services across technical, data and analytics teams.

Current projects include:

supporting the data and analytics mainstreaming initiative for workforce data integration; coordinating the involvement with the sector in the initiative as well as the various teams at PSC.

governance of the functional requirements, enhancements, and management of GEN (Government Employee Number) solution between the sector and technical support teams

additional governance activities include supporting procurement activities including tender coordination, oversight of purchasing and invoicing for the branch, as well as supporting the PSC’s Data Experts forum / actions

developing training material and web content updates to support the projects and initiatives.

About you We are looking for someone with:

Demonstrated ability to coordinate, track and report status of IT related projects

Demonstrated ability in financial and procurement processes

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, and communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders

Awareness of both waterfall and agile project management concepts

Experience in records management and process related to NSW government privacy policies

Familiarity with the Workforce Information Data and / or GEN

Demonstrated understanding of Data / Analytics related services
