**Salary - **$147,22 pa + Superannuation + Annual Leave Loading
**Your Role**
We are currently seeking an experienced Manager that is a logical and strategic thinker with extensive people and business management experience. In this role you will be responsible for running at team of officers and inmates to undertake the operation for the correctional centre while providing oversight and guidance to staff and inmates.
As part of this role, you will need to maintain strong relationships between senior managers across Department of Communities & Justice and external stakeholders.
The role requires:
- Providing leadership and direction to support and coordinate the development of inmate programs and to ensure all CSI operational objectives are being met
- Deliver strong technical and management advice on business issues including procurement and contract management
- Manage inmate employment, education and vocational training, ensuring output and outcomes are being met inline with CSI Business Plan
- Strong time management and computer skills
- Experience working in a high-pressure environment and managing to deliver key business objectives within set timeframes
- Experience in managing budgets of the work area and taking responsibility to ensure that resources are effectively allocated while meeting the operational objectives

**What we're looking for**
- Relevant trade experience in any of the following têxtiles, commercial cooking, waste management, cleaning operations, agriculture, horticulture, laundry operations, building and construction related
- Management experience with staff and business needs
- Knowledge of Business Management Systems (eg Pronto, SAP, QMS)
- Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice
- Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role
**Essential Requirements**
- Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or capacity to complete within specified timeframes
- Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle in the course of performing the role
- Knowledge of Business Management Systems (eg Pronto, SAP, QMS)
- Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications in any of the following: management/project management and trade qualifications /experience in building, construction facilities maintenance Industry.
- Ability to meet the Key Accountabilities and Focus Capabilities detailed in the Role Description
- Willingness to participate in an after hours on call roster or as required
