HammondCare Home Care is currently looking for Carers to join our team in the Shoalhaven region on a part‐time or casual base.
The successful applicant will be looking after clients in Shoalhaven North and travelling to suburbs such as Cambewarra, Kangaroo Valley, Bangalee, Berry, Shoalhaven Heads, Bomaderry, North Nowra, Nowra, Worrigee, Greenwell Point, South Nowra, and West Nowra. The applicant must be available for 3–4 weekdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and every second Saturday.
About the Role
You'll provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to live independently in their own homes and genuinely improving their quality of life. This includes day‐to‐day care, building meaningful relationships and offering companionship. The role requires travel to clients' homes using your own car (you'll be paid 99c per km plus paid travel time).
Qualifications
* Previous experience in aged or community care, or a desire to start a career in aged care.
* Valid driver's licence and access to an insured, reliable car (minimum third‐party property insurance).
* Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support preferred; training will be provided if not currently qualified.
* Adaptability around changing needs of home care clients.
* People‐person who is patient and solutions‐focused.
