Health Record Coordinator Role
We are seeking a skilled and organized individual to maintain high standards of health records and provide efficient services to various departments and organizations.
* Accurate and timely scanning of health documents into our digital system.
* Preparation and verification of documents for digital storage.
* Quality control on scanned documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Identification and correction of errors in the digital system.
* Responding to inquiries from other departments and external organizations regarding patient information requests.
* Updating and maintaining databases related to doctors and practices.
* Effective filing and culling of health records.
* Tracking and managing health record movements.
* Mail collection and sorting.
* Liaising with secondary storage contractors for record retrieval and return.
This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Proficiency in email, web-based applications, and Microsoft Office is essential. Experience with web-based patient administration systems and/or scanned medical records is advantageous.
