A household name in consumer goods is looking for a Finance Analyst to join their finance team for roughly the next two and a half months. The role sits within a high-profile product division, giving you exposure to a large, fast-moving commercial operation - and the kind of brand recognition that tends to make future employers sit up and take notice. What you'll be doing You'll be embedded in the finance team, taking ownership of monthly marketing spend reporting and supporting month-end close activities - think accruals, variance reviews and consolidating reporting decks. You'll also work closely with cross-functional teams, which means you'll need to be comfortable translating numbers for people who don't live in spreadsheets. Responsibilities will include: Tracking and reporting monthly marketing spend vs. budget. Supporting month-end closing activities (accruals and variance reviews). Consolidating reporting decks with high data accuracy. Assisting in reviewing marketing plans vs. commitments. Working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain trackers and provide ad-hoc analysis. What you'll need CA or CPA qualification (or close to it) 2-3 years' experience across P&L, budgeting and forecasting Strong Excel skills, plus working knowledge of SAP and BI tools A few things worth knowing The team works a hybrid model - three days from their St Kilda Road office, two from home.
