Office Administrator | Laverton North, Melbourne VIC | Flexible Part Time

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well established equipment hire business based in Laverton North, Melbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation that operates across construction, civil and commercial projects and is known for its strong customer focus and reliable service delivery.

This role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and is confident working across finance and administration tasks in a busy operational environment. The business is in a strong growth phase and is building structured systems and processes, so there is also scope to contribute to improvements and ways of working.

The Role

As the Office Administrator, you will support day to day finance and administrative operations, working closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Supporting general administration across operations and management
* Processing, coding and reconciling supplier invoices with supporting documentation
* Raising and issuing customer invoices for hire equipment and related services
* Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions using Xero and internal systems
* Following up outstanding debts in a professional and timely manner
* Ensuring data consistency between accounting systems, hire contracts and job records
* Supporting end of month processes including reconciliations and reporting
* Maintaining accurate and well organised digital records for audit and compliance purposes
* Assisting with credit applications and debtor reporting
* Contributing to process improvements and documentation of procedures
About You
* Previous experience in administration, bookkeeping, accounts payable or accounts receivable
* Confident using Xero or similar accounting software
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
* Comfortable working across multiple systems and platforms
* Clear communicator with a professional approach to customer and supplier interactions
* Proactive, reliable and team focused
* Experience in hire, construction or trade environments will be highly regarded
