Your Responsibilities
As Centre Director, you'll be the heart of Milligan House Child Care Centre. You'll be responsible for:
* Overseeing the operations of the service, leading, guiding, and supporting a team that provides high‐quality early childhood education and care to children while ensuring compliance across all areas.
* Creating a warm, engaging, and safe environment for children, families, and educators.
* Overseeing all daily operations with a focus on excellence and compliance.
* Maintaining a strong community presence and fostering positive family relationships to support occupancy growth through quality programs and engagement.
* Managing team performance, development, and wellbeing.
* Rostering to maintain appropriate ratios.
* Working within the values and philosophy of Milligan House.
* Ensuring high‐quality education aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
* Acting as Nominated Supervisor for the service.
* Working with the Centre Management Committee to oversee and manage the centre's budget and maintain facility standards.
* Driving occupancy growth and building strong community relationships.

You'll be perfect for this role if you have the following
* Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care minimum (ACECQA approved).
* Minimum of 1 year experience in a Centre Director role (large daycare setting).
* Knowledge of not‐for‐profit organisations.
* WA Working with Children Check.
* Mandatory Child Protection Training.
* National Police Clearance (within 6 months or willing to obtain).
* A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and Law, and a passion for high‐quality education.
* First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates or willing to obtain.
* Natural leadership, strong time‐management, and the ability to maintain a great team.
* Understanding of financial and administrative tasks.
* Confident managing centre operations independently.
