About the Role
We are seeking an Audit Training Manager to support the capability and quality outcomes of our Audit practice in Perth. In this role, you will work closely with Partners, Managers and People & Culture to design, deliver and coordinate learning initiatives aligned to BDO's audit methodology, quality priorities and regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in developing our future audit talent through targeted technical training, graduate programs and ongoing capability development.
Key Responsibilities
* Designing and delivering the annual Audit learning plan aligned to methodology and audit quality priorities.
* Planning and facilitating end-to-end learning programs, including graduate and early career training.
* Developing and maintaining audit and accounting learning materials to ensure consistency and relevance.
* Delivering engaging training through a range of formats (workshops, clinics, blended learning).
* Partnering with Audit leaders to identify capability gaps and prioritise development initiatives.
* Coordinating training communications, enrolments, completion tracking and compliance reporting.
* Coaching and supporting team members to build confidence and capability on engagements.
About You
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or similar CA/CPA qualification (or eligibility).
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Audit or relevant professional services experience.
* Experience in learning and development, training facilitation or capability uplift roles.
* Strong technical accounting and audit knowledge.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
* A collaborative, resilient and improvement‐focused mindset.
