This is a permanent full-time position reporting to the accountant and working as part of a close-knit team.
You will be taking ownership of the finance function from the ground up, this position is perfect for someone who enjoys a very hands on and diversified role.
This role's focus is predominantly AP, AR, month end reporting, GL + BS recs, monthly reporting, journals, bank recs and end to end Payroll.
Full training on processes will be provided however previous experience as a bookkeeper with exposure in managing all aspects of general accounting is necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Process daily invoices, purchase orders
- Month/Year end reporting
- Processing and reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- General ledger, balance sheet and bank reconciliation
- Payment and collection of creditors and debtors and resolving any queries
- Processing end to end payroll
- Preparation of BAS and ensuring compliance with ATO regulations and lodgement
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
- Confident communicator
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
