Classroom Teacher
The role of Classroom Teacher involves teaching students from Kindergarten to Year Six within a holistic Catholic Education environment. The teacher will support the Catholic ethos, provide religious education, and deliver the WA Curriculum with innovative teaching strategies.
Selection Criteria / Qualifications
* Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.
* Possess a sound knowledge of the Religious Education Units of Work.
* Knowledge of the WA Curriculum and SCSA Judging Standards and ability to organise, select and design content for effective teaching and differentiated learning.
* Have a repertoire of effective teaching strategies that positively impact student engagement and learning outcomes.
* Demonstrate ability to use assessment and continuous monitoring methods and tools to adjust teaching practices to cater for the needs of all students.
* Display excellent classroom management, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Demonstrate the capability to work collaboratively with other staff to promote student learning and to enhance the learning culture of the school.
* Demonstrate the skills to contribute to and promote a staff culture that works collaboratively with students, staff, parents and Parish in promoting a nurturing Catholic school community.
* Accreditation to Teach Religious Education.
* Relevant Four Year Tertiary Qualifications.
