The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together the combined engineering experience and expertise of renowned partners to design and construct Snowy 2.0, a landmark pumped hydro scheme in the Snowy Mountains of NSW. This iconic project will deliver one of the largest renewable energy projects in Australia, providing on-demand power and large-scale storage for future generations.
As a key member of our team, you will provide expert support to the Design Subcontract Lead in managing contractual risks and ensuring optimal outcomes for our joint venture. Your comprehensive knowledge of commercial management and governance requirements will be invaluable in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the contractual management and administration of design works to minimize risks and achieve best possible outcomes
* Manage subcontract progress payment claims, variations, and final accounts according to subcontract terms
* Provide advice on contractual issues associated with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Prepare monthly reports, correspondence registers, and other relevant documents
Requirements:
* White Card
* Recognized tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
* Comprehensive knowledge of commercial management and governance requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in contracts administration of design works
Competencies:
* Well-developed knowledge of contract and commercial/finance management principles and practices
* Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
