Infrastructure Engineering Role Overview
This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in the field of infrastructure engineering, playing a pivotal role in supporting patient care, clinical operations, and community outcomes.
You will be responsible for uplifting the stability, security, compliance, and modernisation of core infrastructure that underpins the entire organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting and stabilising a large enterprise Windows Server environment
* Managing patching, OS refresh, upgrades, and compliance activities at scale
* Developing PowerShell automation and IaC templates to enhance consistency and reduce manual work
* Supporting hybrid cloud workloads across AWS and early-stage Azure initiatives
* Improving DR readiness, backup reliability, and failover capability
* Enhancing storage and compute performance through proactive maintenance and tuning
Requirements:
* Strong hands-on expertise with Windows Server, Hyper-V, clustering, and enterprise storage
* Experience with SQL / PostgreSQL support and performance fundamentals
* Exposure to AWS (EC2, Route 53, CloudWatch) and/or Azure
* PowerShell scripting skills and familiarity with IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation)
* Solid understanding of DNS, certificates, Active Directory, and core infrastructure services
* Knowledge of PAM tools and endpoint/security platforms
* Experience operating in 24x7 or high-availability environments
* A methodical, structured engineer who can take ownership and drive outcomes
