Role Overview
Digital Project Manager responsible for the successful delivery of medium to large (circa $1M to $3M) strategic digital change projects that improve how content is created, governed and delivered across the organisation. You may manage multiple projects, each complex and cross‐functional, encompassing business and technical systems change including workflow, governance, tooling and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage business leaders and develop effective stakeholder relationships to understand and agree business and customer needs and support the delivery of successful project outcomes.
* Work closely with the Business Initiative Owner (Content Operations and Governance Manager) to initiate the project and get it 'up and running'.
* Ensure adequate business analysis is done to establish scope and mandatory requirements.
* Establish and monitor appropriate project governance for each stream within the project(s), and ensure alignment with the governance and reporting framework.
* Establish project resource plans and schedules.
* Support delivery of initiatives that improve content workflows, governance processes and supporting tools.
* Complete integrated status reporting and submit to required timelines.
* Work with Content Operations and Governance Manager to track budget.
* Clearly and regularly communicate with key stakeholders and ensure the project Sponsor is comfortable and confident that the project is on track and achieving success.
* Ensure all monthly status reports are communicated on time and at the required level of quality.
* Ensure that adequate risk and issue management protocols are maintained across the entire project.
* Develop strong trusted relationships with stakeholders and seek regular feedback.
* Foster collaborative and supportive project team spirit that works together to achieve the project outcomes.
* Track delivery progress, dependencies and milestones, and elevate risks or issues where required.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in a Project Manager role, managing medium to large projects (circa $1M–$2M) with high levels of complexity and multiple dependencies.
* Experience working across digital content environments.
* Experience in leading large change management projects.
* Demonstrated experience in project status reporting, scheduling, dependency management and milestone tracking techniques, financial/budget management and risk management.
* Proven track record negotiating successful outcomes with sponsors, project managers and stakeholders.
* Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes at a senior level.
* Proven expertise in managing multiple stakeholders and technology teams.
* Experience running RFPs/RFIs.
* Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to drive effective solutions and deliver business outcomes.
* Experience in Agile project delivery (and knowing when and how to best use it).
* Expert knowledge using and interpreting Microsoft Project (or another scheduling tool) and agile delivery tools (e.g. Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Confluence) is essential.
* Strong understanding of PI planning, DevOps and SDLC.
