Use your customer facing skills and passion to deliver an exceptional service while ensuring Australia's supply of blood products.
Responsibilities Greet and interview potential donors to assess eligibility and suitability.
Provide clinical oversight and guide team members in the blood collection process.
Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests.
Set up machines and collection equipment.
Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood, plasma, and platelets.
Manage adverse donor reactions by providing instructions and physical assistance.
Monitor donors post donation and assist them in rebooking for their next donation.
Requirements Occasional lifting of ****** kg and frequent standing, walking, and bending.
Completed a Bachelor of Nursing (or equivalent) and current AHPRA registration.
Flexibility to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster, including weekends and afternoon shifts.
