Opportunity
We are seeking a Project Director to join our Melbourne team. This key leadership role drives major and complex projects across their full lifecycle – from pursuits and bid leadership through to design delivery and construction. You will partner closely with clients while leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding project outcomes and play a critical role in growing our heavy industrial market through strong client relationships, strategic thinking and excellence in delivery.
Responsibilities
* Providing leadership across complex projects, from early scope definition through to detailed design and construction support
* Leading major, multidisciplinary bids, including developing delivery methodologies aligned to client and market needs
* Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships, with a deep understanding of their business and strategic drivers
* Leading and managing contractual negotiations, applying sound commercial judgement
* Collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary and geographically dispersed teams
* Mentoring and developing team members, supporting capability growth and succession planning
Qualifications
* Experienced Project Director or senior project leader with proven delivery capability, strong risk management experience, and commercial acumen within the heavy industrial sector
* Strong track record delivering technically complex projects and building trusted client relationships, influencing outcomes, and leading teams to success
* Proven ability to lead large, complex projects from early concept through to delivery
* Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing contracts, risk, and project performance
* A track record of building and sustaining trusted client relationships at a senior level
* The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and align diverse stakeholders
* Strong communication and influencing skills, with confidence engaging at a senior level
* Experience within a consulting environment will be highly regarded
