The Position
OTR Tyre Fitter Site Supervisor at McArthur River Mine, Darwin.
Responsibilities include:
* Prioritise and direct personnel to perform tyre fitting and workshop maintenance tasks in the most efficient, safe and cost‐effective manner.
* Maintain a safe and efficient workforce by providing constructive feedback and initiating safety improvements.
* Demonstrate high level of supervision to ensure all safety systems are present.
* Lead by example to ensure compliance with site and company policies, procedures, instructions and Golden Rules.
* Promote a safety culture across site operations targeting zero harm to personnel and the environment.
About You
Qualifications and skills required:
* Preferably two years of supervisor experience in the earthmover industry.
* Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy or equivalent Tyre Fitting Competency; AUR21916/AUR21920 preferred.
* Valid C Class driving licence; HR/LR advantageous.
* Current Work Safe/High Risk Forklift Ticket advantageous.
* Site Safety Supervisors S1,2,3 (G1,8,9) qualification/training.
* Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
* High level of initiative and ability to work well under pressure.
* Understanding that safety is paramount with high attention to detail to abide by site safety procedures.
* High level of maturity and the ability to work well under pressure.
* Candidates residing in Darwin are highly regarded.
