Job Role:
A pharmacy technician is sought for a dynamic and close-knit team providing safe, timely access to medicines across all specialist areas of Singleton Hospital.
Responsibilities:
* Stock management: ordering, receiving, and rotating stock, checking expiry dates, and ensuring wards have necessary supplies.
* Dispensing support: preparing medications under the supervision of the pharmacist.
* Prepacks and ward packs: making and maintaining prepacked medications and ward stock packs.
* Paperwork and systems: managing documentation, filing, and keeping records accurate and up-to-date.
* General support: assisting pharmacists with tasks to maintain service smoothness.
Requirements:
* Qualified and experienced Pharmacy Technician (hospital experience highly regarded).
* Able to work independently and collaboratively within a small team.
* Reliable, organized, and able to manage competing priorities.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to medication safety.
