Job Description
Due to significant contract awards within our ANZ Water business, we are expanding our Water Infrastructure team, creating a secure 10‑year pipeline of work. We are searching for a proven Design Manager to join the team. With AECOM's flexibility you can base yourself in any of our offices in the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Perth.
The Water Infrastructure group provides services to a range of internal and external clients on projects covering water and wastewater treatment, dams, asset management, major conveyance, industrial, civil infrastructure, mining, and defence sectors, with a key focus on supporting sustainable outcomes for our clients and the communities they serve.

How you'll make a difference
* Utilise your water infrastructure expertise, leadership, coordination and communication skills to successfully engage and guide project delivery teams, while working closely with end clients and contractors.
* Be responsible for overall design delivery, having ultimate authority on any design project decisions.
* Ensure projects are delivered within constraints of quality, time and budget.
* Work collaboratively with leaders across our ANZ team for project delivery and assist with project resourcing and business initiatives.
Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and consulting experience.
* Experience in water infrastructure engineering and design.
* Proven track record in the successful delivery of large projects on time, within budget and outstanding quality.
* Excellent communication skills and high‑quality technical and non‑technical report writing.
* Client relationship/management skills and experience.
