Our client is a growing automotive OEM / importer currently expanding its Australian operations. They are seeking an experienced National Parts & Accessories Manager to take ownership of the national parts and accessories function and support the continued growth of the dealer network.
This is a senior role suited to an experienced parts leader with strong commercial, operational and dealer support experience. The position will involve developing scalable systems, improving parts availability, driving accessories growth, supporting dealer profitability and ensuring a high standard of customer and network support.
The Role
This position will see you responsible for the national parts and accessories operation, including parts strategy, pricing, supply chain, inventory control, accessories development, dealer support, warranty related parts processes and supplier performance.
You will develop and implement national parts and accessories policies, manage stock availability and forecasting, monitor fill rates and inventory performance, oversee 3PL warehousing and logistics partners, and work closely with internal stakeholders and the dealer network to improve parts retention, accessory penetration and overall commercial outcomes.
The role will also involve developing accessory programs, supporting dealer accessory sales, managing reporting frameworks, improving systems and processes, and acting as an escalation point for complex dealer or customer related parts matters.
You'll Need
Applicants should have 5 to 7 years' experience in a senior parts leadership role within an automotive OEM, importer, distributor or similar environment.
You will need strong knowledge of wholesale and retail parts operations, pricing, forecasting, procurement, inventory management, dealer support and accessory sales programs. Experience managing 3PL providers, dealer performance programs, ERP or DMS systems, and warranty related parts processes will also be highly regarded.
Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability, stakeholder management skills and the ability to build structure within a growing operation are essential. Experience helping scale parts operations in a new or growing market would be a strong advantage.
A degree in supply chain, logistics, business or a related field will be well regarded.
