The Company We are partnering with a well-established global automation and intralogistics solutions organisation operating across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, and which has recently expanded into the Australian market. Following a recent acquisition and regional integration, the business is undertaking a significant systems transformation, including the implementation and rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for the Australian entity. To support this transition, they require interim finance support to assist with ERP implementation activities, including data migration, financial reconciliation, master data validation, and readiness for reporting and audit requirements during the go-live and post-implementation phases. Key Responsibilities Maintain balance sheet integrity and support statutory reporting requirements including verifying opening balances and ensure master data accuracy. Support finance integration activities following a recent acquisition. Act as a key finance contact during external audits, coordinating audit requests, supporting documentation, and auditor queries. Lead and support data collection, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation activities for a major ERP migration project. Review and analyse large volumes of financial data, identifying inconsistencies and ensuring completeness and accuracy prior to migration. Assist with ERP implementation activities, including financial data migration and system testing. Support process improvement initiatives and the ongoing enhancement of financial controls. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure audit readiness and successful project delivery. Ensure data integrity and accurate financial reporting throughout system and business transitions. Your Profile You may currently be a Financial Accountant, Senior Financial Accountant, or similar finance professional with strong technical accounting capability and a proactive, hands-on approach. To be successful, you'll bring: Exposure to Microsoft Navision, Dynamics 365, or similar ERP systems will be highly regarded. Previous experience acting as the primary finance contact during external audits. Proven experience working with large financial datasets, including data collection, validation, reconciliation, and cleansing activities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify anomalies, investigate discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy.
