Job Title: Maintenance Planner
Chandler Macleod are searching for a skilled professional to join the team onsite in the Bowen Basin as a Maintenance Planner. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating work plans for Field equipment in alignment with 1SAP work management processes and program requirements.
The role requires planning to a high standard, aligned with the rolling major events calendar, including creating notifications and work orders for approved scopes of work, delivering sequenced, effective, and accurate work packages to the Maintenance Supervisor, and liaising with Integrated Operations work/asset management planners to prioritise project equipment.
Key responsibilities include leveraging an integrated team to develop standardised planning processes for the program, creating required parts demands and coordinating with the inventory planner and vendors, identifying opportunities for standardisation to improve efficiency and accuracy, and developing SAP master data to embed standard work packages into task lists.
Additional responsibilities include building detailed, machine-specific major outage Gantt charts at the task level, scheduling third-party vendor tasks to align with maintenance schedules, collaborating with Mine Planning to coordinate equipment movement in/out of tactical mine plans, leading planning review meetings and implementing learnings from each session, and reporting critical path items to the Superintendent and Supervisor to support prioritisation and mitigation.
