Role Overview
As a Technical Trainer & Skills Ecosystem Lead, you are responsible for delivering high-impact training to Nuix customers, partners, and internal team members. You will own learner outcomes in your assigned region, and help build a thriving skills ecosystem through certification, enablement, and regional advocacy.
This role combines expert-level instruction with a strategic mindset. You will support classroom and virtual training, create and collaborate on curriculum enhancements, and work cross-functionally to strengthen adoption, certifications, and customer success outcomes.
The technical trainer delivers software and conceptual training to Nuix customers in the areas of Forensic Investigations, Cybersecurity, and eDiscovery. This person is a subject matter expert (SME) on the Nuix engine as well as the industry and the customer base. The technical trainer will also work as an SME for the development of curriculum and create and collaborate on building the courseware and lab materials.
Domestic and international travel is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, outcome-based training (ILT, VILT) to customers, partners, and internal team members.
* Communicate with customers, Sales, Customer Success Managers, and Sales Consultants before and after training classes.
* Own learner success for students in your region by tracking certification outcomes, feedback, and curriculum input.
* Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure that training programs and learning pathways are aligned with the latest releases of the product as well as product messaging.
* Work with SMEs to gather input for training courses and curriculum and seek out and design innovative approaches for delivering highly effective training.
* Create and collaborate on the development of course, lab, and exam materials.
* Mentor partners, support the onboarding of new instructors, and contribute to instructor best practices.
* Participate in cross-functional initiatives (e.g., Voice of the Customer, support loops, sales collaboration).
* Stay current with Nuix product updates and skills, training trends, and industry standards.
* Demonstrate company core values and contribute to a high-performing, inclusive team culture.
* Act as a regional skills advocate for Nuix Certified Professional (NCP) programs.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
* Five years' experience working as a trainer within a technical environment.
* Robust verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal, leadership, and motivational skills.
* Excellent presentation skills.
* Ability to collaborate across the business to create engaging, up-to-date skills curricula.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of instructional design theories, practices, and methods.
* Solid knowledge of course development software and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Desired Expertise
* Understanding of the Nuix product suite and the industries Nuix serves.
* Experience mentoring team members.
* Ability to write effective instructional content, including copy, instructional text, and audio or video scripts.
