Job Summary
Downer Energy & Utilities is seeking experienced Tested Welders to work at Gladstone Port QLD with the Gladstone Workshop. The role involves structural and piping repairs, precision welding, and shutdown maintenance, ensuring work is completed safely, effectively, and to required standards.

Responsibilities
* Perform structural and piping repairs, precision welding, and shutdown maintenance.
* Meet safety, quality, and production standards.
Qualifications
* Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication or equivalent.
* TIG, MIG, and Stick welding skills; proficiency in passing Magnetic Particle (ME) and Ultrasonic (UE) examinations; experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy welding.
* Must pass weld tests in Dual shield and Inner shield FCAW, MMAW in 3G / 4G positions.
* Hold full working rights in Australia, White Card, and willingness to undertake a pre‐employment medical.
* Preferred: HR Driver's Licence, Working at Heights certification (valid within 2 years), Forklift / EWP tickets.
* Ability to work effectively within a team, with strong communication skills and commitment to safety and quality.
