As we continue to grow, we are seeking a commercially minded and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who is eager to contribute to the design, planning, and implementation of our business success strategies.

Initially, this role may suit someone looking for flexible or part-time arrangements, with the ability to evolve as the business grows. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys partnering with leadership teams, improving business performance, and helping shape strategic direction.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic financial planning and business support
* Budgeting and forecasting
* Cash flow and cash management
* Compliance and accounting oversight
* Advising on financial best practice
* Working closely with Department Heads to analyse and explore business performance
* Reviewing and providing regular feedback on rates and overhead recovery
* Identifying opportunities for operational and financial improvement
* Conducting a thorough review of business processes and financial performance within the first 3 months
* Helping the business better understand key drivers and areas for improvement
* Training, mentoring, and educating team members at all levels of the business to improve financial understanding and commercial awareness
About You
* Minimum 5 years\' experience in a senior finance role within an Australian business
* Australian permanent resident or citizen with unrestricted work rights
* Proven track record delivering commercial and strategic outcomes
* Strong business acumen and analytical capability
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business
* Ability to explain financial concepts in a practical and relatable way
* Approachable, collaborative, and solutions-focused
* Comfortable working in a growing and evolving environment
* Experience with Simpro is highly regarded but not essential
* Professional qualification as either CPA or CA required
