About the Role
Store Inventory Managers at Kmart are responsible for providing a productive, clean and safe inventory sequence throughout the entire store. Starting from the truck being unpacked safely at the dock to the cages making their way onto the shop floor, the role reports directly to the Store Manager and is the key support ensuring quality management of processes and systems across both office and back‐of‐house inventory.
Responsibilities
* Build, coach and inspire your team.
* Manage the inventory cycle within the store.
* Forecast, plan and prioritise daily work and resource requirements.
* Implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and expenses.
* Oversee safe and efficient inventory management practices across the store.

Requirements
* Prior experience in a high‐volume retail environment.
* Passion for delivering results that motivate the team.
* Values that reflect a strong commitment to safety, customer focus and continual motivation to "reach higher" each day.
* Ability to foster strong relationships with team members, peers, customers, leaders and stakeholders.
* Retail administration experience including rostering, stock management and strategic planning.
* Safety leadership experience, having driven and championed safety initiatives in a high‐volume environment.
