* Before School Care: 6:45 - 8:45am
* After School Care: 3:00 - 6:15pm
* Total Hours: 26.25
Role Summary
As the Second in Charge (2IC), you'll be a key leader in delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies.
* Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.
* Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
* Play and have fun with primary school-aged children.
* Support ensuring the program complies with industry regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
* Ideally have previous experience in Before and After School Care or education; training provided if required.
* Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
* Confident communicator with children, parents, team members and school principals.
* Strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
* Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
* Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards.
Training & Safety
All successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
