Our Dental Assistant Traineeship Program provides an excellent opportunity to kickstart your journey in dental healthcare while making a positive impact on our community.
Duration: 12‐month comprehensive traineeship where you will receive hands‐on training and industry insights.
Paid Learning: Competitive salary offered to trainees throughout the program.
Skill Development: Work closely with Dentists, Hygienists, and experienced Dental Assistants. Responsibilities include instrument sterilisation, maintaining a clean clinical environment, preparing rooms for treatment, greeting patients, scheduling follow‐ups, and entering patient details into records.
Classroom Training: Informative sessions via TAFE, with full course fees covered by HCF.
Responsibilities
* Instrument sterilisation and maintenance of a clean clinical environment.
* Preparation of treatment rooms.
* Greeting patients and managing patient care information.
* Scheduling follow‐up appointments.
* Entering patient details into records.
Qualifications
* Positive attitude, initiative, and ability to think ahead to provide seamless support to Dental teams.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to quickly build rapport with patients.
* Highly developed skills in time management, attention to detail, and prioritisation.
* Desire to learn and passion in the healthcare industry.
* Ability to work in a structured and team environment.
* Completion of Cert III in Dental Assisting requirements.
Certification
Upon successful completion of the program, you will be awarded a recognised certification, enhancing employability in the dental field.
