We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced support worker to join our growing care team in the ThornHill Park & Sunbury area. Work available Mon - Fri. Successful candidates can expect to start immediately.
Responsibilities
* Assisting clients/participants with daily living activities (including personal care)
* Providing companionship and emotional support
* Promoting independent living
* Providing transport and community access
* Provide domestic assistance as needed
About You / Qualifications
* Cert III or IV in Disability or Aged Care (required)
* Medication trained (desirable)
* Manual Handling (desirable)
* Experience with complex care in disability
* Understanding of professional boundaries within the support work scope
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working With Children Check
* CPR and First Aid certifications
* Your own reliable transport with comprehensive insurance and a Victorian Driver License
