About the Role
Reporting to the Manager – Contracts, Risk & Compliance, this role plays a key part in supporting contractual governance, compliance obligations, and risk management activities across the organisation.
You will be responsible for contract administration, compliance tracking, and maintaining accurate records across contracts, insurance, and regulatory frameworks. This role suits a detail-oriented professional who thrives in structured environments and enjoys working across multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Administration
* Assist in the preparation, formatting and issue of contract documents, agreements and amendments
* Maintain contract registers, ensuring accuracy, completeness and version control
* Track key milestones, deliverables and renewal dates
* Support end-to-end contract lifecycle processes
Stakeholder Coordination
* Liaise with internal stakeholders (Finance, Procurement, Project Leads)
* Coordinate with customers, suppliers and subcontractors
* Respond to contract-related queries and follow up on approvals and actions
* Compliance & Risk Support
* Assist with trade compliance, export controls and regulatory requirements
* Maintain records for licences, permits and controlled goods
* Support ISO compliance activities and audit preparation
* Assist with risk and compliance reporting processes
Insurance & Records Management
* Maintain insurance registers and Certificates of Currency
* Support claims administration and documentation
Grants & Funding Support
* Assist in identifying and coordinating grant opportunities
* Support preparation of submissions and reporting requirements
* Maintain grant registers and tracking processes
To Succeed in This Role, You Will Have
* Minimum 5 years' experience in contract administration or similar role
* Strong attention to detail and document management capability
* Experience with contract lifecycle processes and governance frameworks
* Experience in maintaining document registers
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Relevant qualification in Business, Commerce, Law or similar
* Familiarity with defence contracting frameworks (e.g. ASDEFCON)
* Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
* Experience in legal, compliance, risk or regulatory environments
