About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll be the person our production teams rely on. From bottling and can lines to brewing equipment and site services, you'll own the mechanical health of our operation, diagnosing issues before they become problems, keeping everything set up and running, and helping operators understand the machines they work with every day.
This is a casual position with genuine full-time potential for someone who wants to grow with us.
What You'll Be Doing
* Performing routine and preventative maintenance on brewing and packaging equipment to keep everything running at peak performance
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults quickly and effectively to minimise downtime
* Setting up packaging machinery and other equipment for daily operations
* Installing and commissioning new and existing plant and equipment
* Training and supervising casual operators on safe and effective machinery use
* Conducting regular inspections and identifying opportunities for improvement
* Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work, schedules, and technical documentation
* Sourcing parts, materials, and machinery as needed
* Upholding HACCP, WQA, and HSE compliance across all tasks
* Forklift operation, warehousing, and general duties as required (forklift certification provided if needed)

What You'll Bring
* Proven experience as a Fitter in a brewery, FMCG, or manufacturing environment
* Strong mechanical aptitude across pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
* Experience with preventative maintenance programs
* Trade qualification or relevant mechanical engineering certification
* Sharp problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and solid communication
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a production setting
* Forklift licence (desirable — training available)
