Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering Project 'CERES' urea plant – the largest in Australia and among the largest in the world – using the most sustainable production processes. The project will generate 2,000 jobs during construction and deliver lasting benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.
We are seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor to join the Perdaman team on a 19:9 rotation to site. The role will lead environmental management and compliance across construction activities in Karratha, ensuring all work complies with environmental approvals, regulatory obligations and company standards.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain environmental procedures, work instructions, and controls.
* Ensure environmental risks are identified, assessed and effectively managed.
* Oversee environmental monitoring programmes (e.g. dust, noise, water, flora/fauna).
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting of environmental performance and compliance.
* Conduct inspections, audits and assurance activities across site.
* Investigate environmental incidents and implement corrective actions.
* Provide practical environmental advice to Construction Managers, Superintendents and Supervisors.
* Support planning of works to minimise environmental impact (clearing, earthworks, drainage, etc.).
Key Requirements
* Minimum 5‐7 years of experience in a similar senior environmental role in the construction industry.
* Experience on construction/EPC projects is highly regarded.
* Experience working in environmental management on large and complex infrastructure or resource projects.
* Oil & Gas/fertiliser exposure highly regarded.
