About the role
Based at our Mirrabooka office, this permanent full-timeposition plays a vital role within our Intensive Family SupportService, working alongside families who are currently engaged withthe Department of Communities within the Mirrabooka and Joondalupregions.
You will build trusted relationships with families, undertakecomprehensive assessments, develop tailored support plans, andprovide intensive case management to help families achieve greaterstability and wellbeing. Through a trauma-informed andstrengths-based approach, you will empower families to navigatecomplex systems, access services, strengthen protective factors,and work towards their safety goals with the Department ofCommunities.
This role offers a diverse mix of direct client work, advocacy,stakeholder engagement, community collaboration, and casecoordination. You will work closely with internal and externalservice providers to ensure families receive the support they needand maintain a positive working partnership with the Department ofCommunities to support with contributing to positive long-termoutcomes for children, young people and their families.
About you
You are a compassionate and resilient practitioner who enjoysbuilding meaningful relationships and supporting people throughcomplex challenges. You bring a person-centred approach, strongprofessional judgement, and the ability to balance autonomy withcollaboration.
In addition, you will also possess:
* A relevant Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology,Community Services or a related discipline (preferred)
* Experience delivering case management and evidence-basedinterventions within community services, family support,health, or related sectors
* Strong understanding of trauma-informed, strengths-basedand culturally responsive practice
* The ability to manage competing priorities, maintainaccurate records and work both independently and within ateam
* Current Driver's Licence
* Working With Children Check (WWCC)
* National Police Clearance (obtained within the last sixmonths)
