Position Description
Our client is currently looking for an ICT Procurement & Contract Manager to join their team on a long term engagement. Australian Citizens with Baseline security clearance will be required for this role. Working within a dedicated Vendor Management Office (VMO), you will perform a comprehensive range of contract management and strategic sourcing activities. What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:
* Government Frameworks: Comprehensive experience with and understanding of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and all relevant additional procurement-related policies and legislation, alongside demonstrated experience in an IT procurement-focused role within Government.
* Complex Sourcing & Drafting: Demonstrated experience conducting complex end-to-end IT-related procurement approaches, including drafting complex procurement documentation (e.g., RFT documentation, head documents, statements of requirement, and complex response schedules) and drafting commercial arrangements.
* Contract & Risk Administration: Demonstrated experience successfully administering contracts, with knowledge and experience in successfully managing risk, including the development of comprehensive risk assessments.
* Delivery & Stakeholder Navigation: Demonstrated experience in delivering positive results within time restraints and competing priorities, combined with a proven ability to communicate effectively and navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
* Drive, Integrity & Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated personal drive and integrity while achieving results within legislative and budget parameters, exercising established commercial acumen to expertly and proactively manage and establish ICT contracts.
* Relevant qualifications and/or industry certification (e.g., Diploma of Government and/or Certificate IV in Government (Procurement and Contracting) or equivalent).
