Power and Water Corporation is a Northern Territory Government (NTG) owned utility that operates across a geographic area of 1.3 million square kilometres and within a range of diverse environmental conditions, ranging from the arid dry of the central desert to the tropical monsoon of the top end. The corporation generates, transmits and distributes electricity, supplies water and wastewater treatment services across the Northern Territory (NT) for the benefit of residents, including remote and isolated Aboriginal communities and outstations.
We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Technical Coordinator Electrical to join our organisation. Reporting directly to the Darwin based Manager Electrical and Instrumentation. This role based in Alice Springs coordinates and oversees routine repairs, maintenance, servicing and minor upgrades of electrical assets associated with water and wastewater systems across major and minor centres and remote communities.
We are looking for a candidate who has well developed experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of equipment associated with water and wastewater systems, including bores, pumps, motors and switchboards. The successful candidate will have an NT Grade A Electrical Workers Licence, or the ability to obtain. Along with significant knowledge and experience in the repair and maintenance of electrical power and control equipment.
