About the role
The sub‐level cave at Northparkes has a solid 10‐year mine life, including five years of development mining, with an additional decade of future projects expected. This role provides a stable, growth‐oriented career.
Reporting to the Underground Mining Supervisor, the focus is on charge‐up duties to maintain underground development and production operations.
Responsibilities
* Charge up development and production headings.
* Handle, transport, and store explosives safely and efficiently.
* Adhere to site blasting and evacuation procedures consistently.
* Prepare blast holes to minimise misfires and optimise blast performance.
* Maintain safety as a priority for self and crew.
* Live and breathe Evolution values each shift.
Qualifications
* Based in Parkes or willing to relocate.
* Minimum 12 months experience in a similar underground role.
* Blasting Explosives User Licence.
* Working at Heights ticket.
* Security clearance to handle explosives.
* Safety‐focused mindset.
* Current C‐Class driver's licence.
