About the Role:
As a Registered Nurse (RN/M1) in the perioperative setting, you will provide nursing and/or midwifery services across scrub/scout, recovery/anaesthetics, and admission/discharge. In this role, you will develop from a novice practitioner to a proficient level of professional practice, consolidating your knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development and experience. You will also accept accountability for your own standards of care and for activities delegated to others.
As a Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C), you will provide advanced nursing services in a variety of health service settings, drawing on your consolidated experience and/or further study. You will accept accountability for your own practice standards, activities delegated to others, and for supporting and guiding less experienced staff. While remaining predominantly clinical, this role includes portfolio responsibilities negotiated to align with your career development and performance review plans.
What We're Looking For:
RN/M1
* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
* Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
* Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.
RN/M2C
* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
* Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
* Experience in the use of computer packages e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel.
* Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
* Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses, and less experienced registered nurses.

This is a part time vacancy, working 40 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
