About The Role
Our Fortuna Insurance Services team is growing and is now seeking an experienced Insurance Broker for the position of Account Executive to provide high-quality broking support for our insurance broking division. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable insurance broking professional who is proactive, client-focused and committed to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing professional advice to clients across various sectors on insurance products, coverage options, and risk management
* Preparing and presenting insurance quotations, renewals and reports
* Liaising with underwriters and insurers to negotiate competitive terms
* Claims management and providing technical broking support
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
* Maintaining accurate client records and documentation using broking systems
* Responding to client enquiries professionally and within agreed service standards
* Identifying process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
* Managing and growing a portfolio of insurance clients
* Supporting business development through existing client interactions and identifying new opportunities
Key Skills & Experience
* Previous experience within the insurance broking industry (minimum 3 years and desirable 5 years)
* Experience in broking software (Winbeat, Insight or similar) (Insight experience preferred)
* Diploma or higher qualification
* Excellent customer service skills and thorough product knowledge
* A proactive, can-do attitude with high attention to detail
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills
* Ability to explain the claims process clearly to clients
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly
