About the Role
As a Strategic Account Manager you will manage and grow a portfolio of Key & Strategic Accounts within our Hydrogen & Renewable Energy portfolio, maximizing participation and spend through tailored value propositions and a consultative, value‐based sales approach. The role is Sydney‐based, selling into the Australia and wider Asia Pacific market from St. Leonards, Sydney with hybrid working available.
Responsibilities
* Key & Strategic Account Management – manage, develop, retain and grow assigned accounts; build and run account plans aligned to customer needs and buying cycles.
* New Bell Business Strategy – identify, qualify and secure new bellwether customers for each show in the portfolio.
* Consultative / Value‐based Selling – lead strategic conversations with senior decision‐makers and sell appropriate solutions aligned to objectives.
* Market & Industry Insight – use hydrogen/renewables ecosystem knowledge (including supply chain) to uncover and convert opportunities.
* Pipeline, Forecasting & CRM Discipline – maintain accurate SFDC activity/opportunity updates and reporting.
* Systems & Tools – use GBS Sales, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other sales systems employed by the business.
Requirements
* Strong knowledge or experience in the hydrogen industry; broader renewable energy or adjacent supply‐chain industries considered.
* Track record in B2B sales/account management, including retention and new business development.
* Highly consultative style and strong value‐based selling capability.
* Ability to develop a strategy where landing a key client creates an amplification effect (new bell / bellwether thinking).
* Strong presentation, negotiation and stakeholder management skills (comfortable with C‐suite/business owners).
* Self‐motivated, structured and autonomous approach to proactive hunting.
