Professional Dietitian Role in Aged Care
This senior professional will work within a stimulating and varied caseload, providing expert care planning and individual assessments for elderly clients residing in residential aged care homes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop comprehensive care plans outlining client issues, goals, interventions, and review protocols.
* Collaborate with clients, their representatives, site management, and clinical staff to ensure effective implementation of each client's plan.
* Deliver clinically appropriate interventions tailored to individual client needs.
* Monitor client outcomes at regular intervals to assess the efficacy of interventions in achieving desired goals.
* Conduct menu assessments where required and produce high-quality client reports.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
* Recognition of tertiary degree in Nutrition & Dietetics.
* DAA registration as a practicing dietitian.
* Valid driving licence/own transport highly regarded.
* Full working rights in Australia.
* National NDIS Worker Screening Check (with online NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety and You' certificate).
* Up-to-date COVID vaccinations and booster.
* Previous experience working in aged care settings.
