Job Title: Channel & C&I Manager - Australia (Sydney)
Global Tier‐1 Solar Manufacturer
A leading global Tier‐1 solar module manufacturer is seeking an experienced Channel & C&I Manager to support continued growth across the Australian residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) solar market. Based in Sydney, this role will focus on business development, channel partner management and sales execution across distributed energy markets.
This position is well suited to a commercially driven solar professional with strong industry networks and a proven track record in channel and C&I sales.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and execute sales and business development strategies across residential and C&I market segments
* Develop, manage and grow channel partner relationships, including distributors, EPCs, installers and key commercial customers
* Drive new customer acquisition while strengthening long‐term strategic partnerships
* Identify, pursue and support C&I project opportunities in collaboration with EPCs, developers and end clients
* Own pricing strategy, contract negotiations and commercial structuring to achieve volume and margin targets
* Collaborate internally with marketing, logistics and technical teams to support product positioning, forecasting and customer requirements
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity and pricing dynamics to inform go‐to‐market strategy
* Represent the business at industry events, partner meetings and customer engagements
Key Requirements
* Demonstrated experience in sales, business development or channel management within the solar or renewable energy sector
* Strong understanding of the Australian residential and C&I solar markets and routes to market
* Established relationships with installers, EPCs, distributors and commercial customers
* Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, deal negotiation and forecasting
* Track record of achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
* Self‐starter mindset with the ability to operate autonomously in a fast‐growing market
* Sydney‐based, with willingness to travel as required
