Senior Finance Manager

This role is part of the Property Management Retail team based in Melbourne. It reports to the Finance Director and involves financial, management accounting and reporting for a small portfolio of shopping centres. The role is dynamic and requires close collaboration with centre staff, providing analysis and supporting their needs.
Responsibilities
* Monthly reporting of management accounts in an accurate and timely manner.
* Ensure accurate monthly reporting for properties, including balance sheet, profit and loss analysis and variance commentaries.
* Review and analyse property performance.
* Preparation of Percentage Rent, Extended Trade, Occupancy Capping, Direct Recharges.
* Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
* Serve as SME and trusted advisor for internal and external customers of the allocated portfolio.
* Provide assistance to clients with scheduled audits.
Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
* CPA/CA qualified or studying towards it.
* Previous experience within property accounting – either commercial or retail related.
* High level attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong time‑management and organisational skills.
* Superior communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
* A positive attitude and flexible approach to work.
