Job Opportunity:
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of goods to valued customers in Hobart. Your role will involve picking and packing customer orders, driving a medium rigid truck, safely transporting goods to various locations, adhering to delivery schedules and routes, and providing excellent customer service.
For this position, you will need to have a current, valid medium rigid driver's license with a clean driving record, previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role, strong customer service and communication skills, good teamwork, excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and proactive risk management.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain high levels of productivity while meeting deadlines.
In addition, the ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 20 kilograms, bend, stoop, and climb stairs on occasion, and may be required to work in extreme weather conditions.
