As part of our Development Services Program, the Infrastructure Coordinator plays a pivotal role in negotiating and managing Infrastructure and Tankering Agreements, ensuring timely delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure.
This role supports Logan Water's end-to-end service model—spanning planning, delivery, operations, and performance—while fostering strong relationships with developers, consultants, and stakeholders to uphold service excellence and community outcomes.
Position Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Prepare and manage Infrastructure and Tankering Agreements for complex developments.
• Coordinate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely agreement execution.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure the Capital Works Program accurately reflects actions agreed with developers
• Track and report on agreement progress, budgets, and milestones.
• Manage developer bonds and ensure timely release upon meeting conditions.
• Attend pre-lodgement meetings and provide expert advice.
• Investigate and resolve complaints and stakeholder enquiries.
• Contribute to planning workshops and legal briefs.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Council systems.
• Conduct site visits and address WHS issues as needed.
• Identify and implement service improvements.
Key indicators for success
• Degree in Town Planning, Civil Engineering or in a related field and/or extensive experience in development assessment, infrastructure delivery contract administration or a similar role.
• Proven experience in contract, bond, or agreement administration within local government or development sectors
• Solid understanding of water supply and sewerage infrastructure planning, design, and operations
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, planning schemes, and mapping tools
• Knowledge of development legislation and capacity to apply legal advice
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Successful completion of all pre-employment checks
• Possession of a current "C" class driver's licence.
