Hotel Brand: Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts

Responsibilities
- Help guests – greet upon arrival and provide directions or assistance such as explaining facilities.
- Ensure final readings of restaurants and other outlets, then balance those readings with the hotel’s property management system.
- Record, balance, and deposit all receipts for the shift into the hotel’s drop‑safe.
- Prepare revenue journal correctly and balance it with room sales recapitulation.
- Post all daily room charges to guest ledgers and verify accuracy.
- Support hazard identification, risk evaluation, and the design and implementation of hazard control measures.
- Schedule and undertake training and other safety tasks.
- Prepare and deliver any overnight room service orders.
- Summarise all officer checks for signature by the Finance Manager.
- Settle credit cards and reconcile balances.
- Summarise adjustments or rebates for signature by the Finance Manager and/or General Manager.
- Reconcile guest ledgers daily and reconcile totals with the Front Office.
- Adhere to all CSA responsibilities and accountabilities.
- Implement practical measures to identify, assess, control, train and monitor workplace risks for both staff and guests.
- Prepare a daily briefing sheet that serves as a communication tool hotel‑wide.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties in a manner that reflects highly on the hotel, brand, and company.
- Proven communication skills across phone, email, and face‑to‑face interactions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the Opera property management system.
- South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
- Proactive approach, strong drive for team results, and a track record of achievement.
- Problem‑solving and organisational abilities with a adaptable work approach.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hotel Administration, Hotel Management or an equivalent preferred.
- Team player able to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritise own workload, and assist colleagues as needed.
