Swick Mining Services are seeking experienced Drill Fitters to join our site-based Maintenance team at various locations within WA.The RoleDuties are (but not limited to) the following:Servicing, maintenance and fault finding on underground Diamond Drilling equipmentEnsure all servicing, repairs and testing is completed and paperwork returned to scheduler.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on drill rigs.Maintain underground drilling equipment to ensure optimal functionality.Coordinate with teams, communicate effectively, and ensure seamless drilling operations.Participate in ordering and maintenance of relevant parts/stockManagement of costs and quality of repairs being undertakenDaily completion report and submission of time sheetsThe CandidateThe successful candidate will be required to meet the following criteria:Proven experience working on drill rigs, preferably undergroundBasic hydraulic & electrical diagnostics and component rebuildsEffective troubleshooting and quick problem resolution skills.Current manual C Class Driver LicenseNational Police Clearance (within last 6 months)Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen)Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environmentEffective communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to safety standards and hazard identificationAttention to detail and time managementThe BenefitsAcross our entire business, our people come first.
