Peel Health Campus is a general hospital located in the City of Mandurah, 75 km south of Perth on the doorstep of the south-west, known for its stunning beaches, internationally significant wetlands, and some of Australia's most spectacular waterways for boating, fishing and wildlife. It originally opened in 1988 as the 32-bed Mandurah District Hospital, and now operates with 206 licensed beds, bays and treatment areas.

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) to join our dedicated Oncology team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled nursing professional to provide advanced clinical expertise, leadership, and support in delivering high-quality patient care. As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will play a key role in clinical leadership, service improvement, staff education, and patient advocacy while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant shall influence the practice of nursing and provide radiation oncology services to the Peel region, whilst assisting patients with accessing care pathways both within and external to their health service. Areas of accountability will include the provision of leadership and influence, clinical standard setting and monitoring, policy development and change management. As a senior nurse with professional accountability to the Nurse Co‐Director, you will provide mentorship and role modelling for nurses and contribute to the advancement of the profession, in keeping with the South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) Vision and Values.
