Job Description
headspace Tweed Heads involves young people in many aspects of decision-making at our centre, so young people's voices stay front and centre.
Our Youth Reference Group (YRG) brings together passionate volunteers aged 12–25 who help ensure new headspace initiatives make a positive difference in the lives of young people.
We are interested in learning about you. All you need to do is tell us about yourself to express your interest.

Some of the things you would do and skills you will build the as part of the YRG include:
* building your understanding of how professional meetings work by attending monthly meetings and developing your confidence to speak up, share your ideas, and even lead discussions
* contributing to the design and development of our centre, including shaping service delivery, policies, and staff recruitment and training at headspace Tweed Heads
* gaining experience in event planning and delivery by representing headspace Tweed Heads at events with local organisations, services, and schools
* learning how mental health services are designed and shaped
* accessing professional training opportunities
