Key Responsibilities
Plan daily tasks & manage stock levels whilst ensuring that the department is running to maximize efficiency
Facilitate and organize the daily inspections and maintenance of rides/attractions to ensure compliance with ride manufacturer's specifications & departmental requirements
Ensure all AV/Electrical systems/equipment are tested and maintained to required industry standards
Report to regulatory authorities, internal and external auditors and industry organizations as required or directed
Organize and manage contractor entities involved in new installations of AV/Electrical systems and where required assist with managing air conditioning, refrigeration and fire servicing contracts and associated team members
Co-ordinate repairs with other maintenance departments to ensure ride handovers in a timely manner
Ensure all AV/Electrical work orders are completed within the specified time period and communicate with AV/Electrical team the required daily maintenance schedule, focusing on priority repairs in order to minimize downtime
Actively looking for ways to improve current processes/procedures to increase department efficiency
Organize the shift roster to ensure suitable coverage for daily maintenance activities
Assist with the budget control and job costing for the AV/Electrical department
Raise purchase requisitions & goods receipt purchase orders for payment of invoices through SAP.
What We're Looking For

Must hold a current Electrical license suitable for use in Queensland
Manual Driver's license required
PLC experience will be highly regarded (Programmable Logic Controller)
Proven mechanical & electrical aptitude experience
Ability and willingness to work at heights
Sound knowledge of rides and attractions & VRTP maintenance procedures/policies.
Strong understanding of effective rostering and labor management
Elevated Work Platform an advantage.
Forklift license an advantage
Working knowledge of SAP, Maximo and Mobaro highly desirable
Self-organization, problem solving & time management skills with excellent communication, delegation & leadership skills with a strong focus on quality
