Electrical Leading Hand / Working Supervisor - FIFO
Byblos Constructions is seeking an experienced Electrical Leading Hand / Working Supervisor to join our team delivering ongoing room refurbishment works in Tom Price. This is a hands‐on leadership role suited to someone who can supervise crews, coordinate daily site activities, and work alongside the team to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This is a long‐term opportunity within a fast‐paced mining and accommodation refurbishment environment, working across active operational sites.
About the role
Reporting to the Project Leadership Team, you will oversee day‐to‐day electrical works associated with accommodation room refurbishments and associated upgrade works. The role will involve both supervision and on‐the‐tools responsibilities, with a strong focus on safety, quality, program delivery, and coordination with other trades and stakeholders on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate small electrical team onsite (3 x tradesman)
* Carry out electrical installation and refurbishment works as required
* Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently while maintaining compliance with all relevant standards
* Coordinate daily site activities and maintain project schedules
* Manage materials, tools, and site resources effectively
* Maintain strong communication with site management
* Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, site procedures, and quality standards
What You'll Need
* WA Electrical Licence (essential)
* Previous experience in a Leading Hand or Supervisory role
* Experience working on Rio Tinto and/or remote mining accommodation projects (highly regarded)
* Strong understanding of refurbishment and construction environments
* Ability to lead crews while remaining hands‐on
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Current Driver's Licence
* CPR/LVR certification
* Ability to pass pre‐employment medical and site inductions
* Electrical Nominees Training
