About The Role

We are seeking a values-driven and dedicated Assistant CSC Team Leader to join our team at Cairns Corps! You will be responsible to assist with the operation and administration of the Cairns Street Chaplains Limited Services. Additionally, you will support activities aligned with the strategic direction consistent with the mission and values of TSA. Reporting to the Team Leader, this is a permanent part-time position, 4 hours per week, based in Cairns, QLD.

Responsibilities

* Assist the Team Leader and support with street outreach program (including overnight program), assisting with management of volunteers
* Greet community members and provide rest and recovery assistance, offering referral pathways as needed
* Advance TSA's reputation in the community by supporting the seamless provision of client-focused care and services
* Provide high standard of customer service to all stakeholders and participate in continuous improvement processes for service delivery
* Serve as an on-call Team Leader and oversee volunteer engagement when required
* Actively participate as a team member while supporting the achievement of organisational strategies
* Assist Team Leader to ensure vehicle and equipment is clean, fully stocked with supplies, garaged and available as required; report any issues
* Ensure incident reports are completed in accordance with procedure, maintain the database and generate weekly statistical reports
* Support leadership by participating in professional development

Qualifications

* Certificate IV in Administration, Community Services and/or equivalent relevant experience is highly desired
* Experience in a similar role and/or within the community services sector
* Employment history with a not-for-profit organisation (desirable)
* Intermediate computer skills with the ability to use Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
* A Working with Children (Blue Card) is required
* A current and valid Driver's Licence
* A valid First Aid Certificate
* Willing to be flexible with work hours and days, including overnight shifts
